Replace FileMaker — with a smooth transition
Only one person still understands the scripts? We move the tables, layouts and logic of your FileMaker solution into a modern CRM — without your team starting over.
Module by module
What your FileMaker modules become
Every grown FileMaker solution is made of the same ingredients — each has a clean successor in the CRM world.
Tables and relationships
Become the Act! data model with history — we clean duplicates during the move.
FileMaker scripts
Much is taken over by CRM automations — the rest we port as a tailored extension.
Layouts and screens
Become CRM forms, tailored to your workflows instead of the old schema.
FileMaker Go on the road
GiContact takes over mobile capture — contacts and notes right on the phone.
Reports and charts
Become reports on demand — from data that is maintained anyway.
Import and export scripts
Run through maintained interfaces instead of scripts only one person knows.
How we work
Understand first, then replace — never the other way
A typical project starts with an inventory: which tables, layouts and scripts exist, and which do you actually still use? We then map the data model in the CRM and migrate the data in a test run. Your team works in both worlds during a parallel phase until everything fits — only then is the old solution switched off.
A fixed step in the process: data validation. Every record is checked on the way over — required fields, formats such as phone numbers and email addresses, duplicates and plausibility. Anything unclean goes on a review list instead of silently into the new system.
HC24 data bridge
A smooth transition instead of a big bang
The HC24 data bridge connects your FileMaker solution to the new CRM and pushes changes across continuously while the parallel phase runs. Both systems stay in sync — your team switches module by module, with no cut-over risk and no weekend heroics.
Tailored in-house modules are not lost either: thanks to HC24 we port custom FileMaker builds into the CRM world as extensions — the logic stays, only the foundation becomes modern.
Frequently asked questions
What happens to our FileMaker scripts?+
We analyse each script individually. Much is covered by CRM automations — mail merges, follow-up tasks, reports. What remains, we rebuild as a tailored extension so no function is lost.
Is data lost during the move?+
No. We map every field, validate every record and migrate in a test run first. The old solution stays untouched during the parallel phase — you can always look things up.
Can we keep using FileMaker in the meantime?+
Yes, that is the normal case: the HC24 data bridge keeps both systems in sync while your team switches smoothly. Switch-off happens only once nobody needs the old solution anymore.
What happens to FileMaker Go on the iPad?+
GiContact takes over mobile capture: contacts, notes and appointments right on the phone or tablet — in sync with the CRM, with no layout maintenance of your own.
What does replacing a FileMaker solution cost?+
That depends on the number of tables, layouts and scripts. The first conversation costs nothing — after that you get a quote with a clear scope before any costs arise.
The goal is not to rebuild FileMaker one to one — it is to move the workflows behind it into a system your whole team understands.
